The year is 1776. Now, wait a minute! There was no photography in 1776, right? Well, that’s true. So, instead, American Photo Colorizing is going to celebrate Independence Day 2014 with a special tip of Uncle Sam’s stovepipe hat to “Our America”. We hope you all enjoy it!

At American Photo Colorizing, our goal is to shred the black & white veil that separates us from the exciting, vibrant lives of those who came before us. It’s time to “Go Color” with your vintage and antique family photos. Your ancestors are counting on you!

Here’s a groovy family we feel really represents the Spirit of America. They are The Willis Clan of Nashville, Tennessee – 12 brothers and sisters whose music and dance performances are wowing ’em from coast to coast!

Now, there’s a lot more to this group than cuteness and talent. This is a Christian family from Tennessee who have braved tragedies most of us can’t imagine. Their grandparents lost 6 of their 9 children in a firey car explosion in 1994. The singing Willis Clan lost their home to fire in 2005. Theirs is a miraculous story of determination and faith in God . . . That’s OUR America. Happy 4th of July!
