The year is 1948. It’s Christmas in the city. “What city?”, you may ask. I really don’t know. I don’t even know when we came by this photo. The original black & white has been sitting in our digital archives for quite awhile. The black & white image has a stylized appearance that lends itself well to a more Norman Rockwell approach in the colorizing process. I think this would make a fine greeting card or calendar photo. What say you, Hallmark?
Christmas is coming-on like a moose heading downhill on a pair of skiis. There’s still a small window of time to look through your family photo collection. A beautifully-colorized image of your ancestors (suitable for enlarging and framing) makes a wonderful keepsake for the entire family. This year, “Give the Christmas Present of Christmas Past!”
