The year is 1890. Here’s a visually powerful illustration of our moto, “YOUR world isn’t black & white . . . Neither was THEIRS”. The original photo of a team of men logging near Seney, Michigan was taken only 25 years after the end of the Civil War. Adding color to the image erases the gap of nearly 125 years from 1890 to the present day. No longer are they seen as ghosts of a bygone era – but, as real people, whose lives we can relate to. This is our objective at American Photo Colorizing.com – to connect our modern generation with those who have come before. We can do the same for your museum or family photos. There’s no time like the present to bring back the past in color. Remember, your ancestors are counting on you!

Christmas is coming on like Gangbusters. It’s time to look through your family photo collection. A beautifully-colorized image of your ancestors (suitable for enlarging and framing) makes a wonderful keepsake for the entire family. This year, “Give the Christmas Present of Christmas Past!”
